Skinny Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Add butter, sugar and vanilla to a bowl or mixer. Cream until well mixed and lightly fluffy.
  3. Add eggs and oil, mix.
  4. Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Slowly mix flour mixture into wet ingredients with the electric mixer on low speed.
  6. Add chocolate chips.
  7. Bake for 7-9 minutes.
