My Review: When I first saw the preview of this movie, I thought well this could go two ways. It could either be really good or really bad. I thought it fell a little more towards good. It wasn’t the best movie I’ve ever seen but it was entertaining and that’s the whole point of a movie. I was surprised to see how well Gwyneth Paltrow sings in this film. I thought all the actors did a good job and made it believable. The story line was good too, yes I’ve seen this type of movie before but it’s usually the male singer who falls apart because of drinking and drugs so it was kind of different seeing it played by a woman. I wouldn’t run out and buy this but if it’s on t.v or on HBO then I would recommend that you take an hour or so and watch this movie.
My Rating: C+
