Movie Review: Edge of Darkness (2010)

Thomas Craven is a veteran homicide detective for the Boston Police Department and a single father. When his only child, 24-year-old Emma, is murdered on the steps of his home, everyone assumes that he was the target. But he soon suspects otherwise, and embarks on a mission to find out about his daughter’s secret life and her killing. His investigation leads him into a dangerous looking-glass world of corporate cover-ups, government collusion and murder — and to shadowy government operative Darius Jedburgh who has been sent in to clean up the evidence. Craven’s solitary search for answers about his daughter’s death transforms into an odyssey of emotional discovery and redemption. Release Date:January 29th, 2010

MY REVIEW:
YAY! first of all thank god Mel Gibson is making movies again, I kind of missed him. I hadn’t heard anything about this movie but it looked pretty good from the previews. When we finally went to see it I thought it was exciting, dramatic and suspenseful. I thought it had a good plot and the acting was really good too, I even jumped a few times. Through out the movie it keeps you wondering what’s going to happen, is that person is going to die, who really killed his daughter, it’s a fun movie overall. I liked it so much that I wouldn’t mind going to see it again and I will probably get it on DVD.

MY RATING: A+
